OUR MINISTRIES

Our mission at Connection Church is to connect people with Jesus and the life He offers. To accomplish that, we offer a variety of opportunities throughout the church, the community, and around the world. From children, to children at heart, our ministries continue to connect hundreds of people to each other for growth and support.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

“Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.”

Luke 2:52

Each week, the children explore God’s word and begin to understand how to use scripture as a guide for their lives. They learn to worship God by the way they live, to share their faith with others and to turn to God in prayer. We hope you and your children will join us!

(Birth – 3 years old @ all services)

Our little ones will be comfortable, well-cared for, and connected to God’s love while they spend time in our Nursery. We provide safe, clean, nurturing, and loving care to children.

(pre K @ 9:45 and 11:00 services)

Through engaging music, Bible stories, and hands-on activities, First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love.

(pre K @ 9:45 and 11:00 services)

We create an environment where children can have the opportunity to connect with Jesus by participating in Bible stories and activities.

(K – 5th grade @ 9:45 and 11:00 services)

Through dynamic worship, interactive storytelling, and a connection with a small group, kids discover and learn relevant applications of God’s truth.

STUDENT ARTS MINISTRIES

(grades 1st - 8th)

Do You Know SAM? SAM stands for Student Arts Ministries at Connection Community Church. SAM provides students in the church and community with opportunities to develop skills in the arts while getting to know God and sharing their talents with others. This program is also a wonderful opportunity for adults and high school students to mentor and share their artistic talents with the younger population.

The program options this year are on Tuesdays (5-6:15 pm) for students 1st through 8th grade.

Our Spring 2016 session runs Tuesdays from September 13-October 18! To view the list of offerings, details and to register, visit our SAM page.

YOUTH

(grades 6th - 12th)

Youth Connection provides a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for teens. We offer a variety of activities for youth including, but not limited to, our quarterly outreach events, missions, and our regularly scheduled Sunday School and Youth Group programs.

Jr. & Sr. High Sunday School

Learn about God as it applies to each stage of teen life. Through engaging activities and small group discussion, teens learn to personalize their faith.

Jr. and Sr. high Youth Groups

(2nd & 4th Sundays noon to 2pm)

Food, fun, and activities take place in a friendly environment designed to draw teens deeper in their faith.

Sr. high Small Group

(1st and 3rd Sundays from 6 to 8pm)

This group is designed for the teen who is committed to digging deeper into God’s word. Teens in this group study God’s word, pray for, and hold one another accountable.

ADULT

We have groups for men, women, young adults, couples, and families of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity that meet at various times and places during the week. We believe being part of a small group (6 to 14 members) is a vital part of our faith development and spiritual growth. We’re just everyday people getting together to grow spiritually.

For more information, contact connect@connectioncc.org

Do you want to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed environment? Each week we eat, listen to a talk, and have group discussion. You are free to ask questions, participate, or just listen. Whether you’re exploring faith or have a long-term relationship with the Lord, this is a great way to get connected and dig deeper. Alpha is free and childcare is provided; it’s offered Spring and Fall.

Find out more about Alpha from the Alpha Course Website

Small groups have become one of the cornerstones of Connection Community Church over the past several years. We have over 25 small groups consisting of men, women, couples, and families within the Connection family. Being part of a group allows you to dig a little deeper into scripture, find encouragement from people who care, grow spiritually, and have fun!

SegWay gives everyone an opportunity to give small groups a test drive; where you can meet new people, take part in a short study (four to six weeks), and find out what small group life is all about. There is no long-term commitment to continue in any group after SegWay, but we do find that many people want to get connected afterwards.

8,000 videos for small groups, individual, children, and youth are available online with our church subscription. If you do not have an account, please contact the church office connect@connectioncc.org to receive an invitation and instructions via email.

You can view the videos on your computer, tablet, smart phone, or any number of internet connected devices that work with your TV. If you need help, just click on the menu bar icon on the RightNow media http://rightnow.org.

OUTREACH

iReach is a ministry of Connection Community Church that gives a comprehensive look at the many opportunities to incorporate outreach into our lives as we connect with Jesus and the Life He offers.

We strive to find creative and meaningful opportunities to share God’s love in practical ways with those we meet in our neighborhood, community, and world. Outreach can be as simple as a random act of kindness, a small group outreach project, or a church-wide outreach event.

Use this as a tool to help you discern how God may be calling you to partner with Him in the work He wants to do through you. Take a look at the many outreach opportunities and begin to pray about what gets you excited.

Download our iReach Brochure and look it over and let us know how you feel led to serve.

Koshy's Kids

A love affair began in 2004 between Carmel Community Church and Connection Community Church. That’s when we met Pastor Kosh Baby and his wife Joicy. Connection’s primary oversees outreach is to the 1000+ children who live in the slums of New Delhi, India, and are under Koshy’s care. We also pay a portion of Pastor Koshy’s monthly salary so he can be “Jesus with skin on” to the least, last, and lost.

Our Daily Bread

Our Daily Bread is a new outreach program for Connection Community Church. The mission of Our Daily Bread is to feed low income families and individuals in the MOT community with nutritious meals served at no cost and without discrimination. The meals are served the first and third Mondays of each month at Dale Memorial UMC located at 143 East Lake Street in Middletown. Connection Community Church has a committee in place that will prepare and serve a meal when needed. Should you want to serve on this committee, please contact Pat Cobourn at 302-378-4727.
