Our Ministries
CHILDREN

Each week, the children explore God’s word and begin to understand how to use scripture as a guide for their lives. They learn to worship God by the way they live, to share their faith with others and to turn to God in prayer. We hope you and your children will join us!

YOUTH

Youth Connection provides a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for teens. We offer a variety of activities for youth including, but not limited to, our quarterly outreach events, missions, and our regularly scheduled Sunday School and Youth Group programs.

OUTREACH

iReach is a ministry of Connection Community Church that gives a comprehensive look at the many opportunities to incorporate outreach into our lives as we connect with Jesus and the Life He offers.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION

Spiritual disciplines are a means to receive and recognize God’s grace in our lives. They provide us with opportunities for God to transform our lives and help us grow deeper in our relationship with God. Wherever you are in your faith journey, whether you are just beginning or whether you have been walking with the Lord for many years, intentionally practicing and incorporating spiritual disciplines in your life will transform it.

Our Vision

Prior to starting Connection Community Church, Kari and Alan Jones recognized the need for a new faith community because of the growing population in Middletown, Delaware.

For six months, they were on staff at Cornerstone Church with the responsibility of casting the vision for this new faith community. Fourteen families shared the vision and Connection Community Church held its first service on Christmas Eve in 2001. Today the church has three Sunday services – 8:30, 9:45 and 11am-  in a renovated former bowling alley in downtown Middletown, across the street from the fire station. The building has undergone several renovations as the congregation and its needs have grown from 14 families to about 200.

Our Core Values

The core values of Connection Community Church are not just ideals or goals toward which we all strive, but the real preferences and choices that we actually make in daily life. These choices are both deliberate and carefully considered, as well as spontaneous.

Debbie Morgan

Debbie Morgan

Office Administrator

Everyone’s called to wear different hats, perform different roles, and deal with the different seasons in our lives. For Debbie, no matter what hat she wears, what role she’s called to perform, or what season of life she’s in, her ultimate goal is to honor the Lord. Debbie credits, first and foremost, her relationship with Jesus for shaping who she is and guiding her through life’s joys as well as its challenges.
