The Alpha Course at Connection
Do you want to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed environment? Each week we will meet online, listen to a talk, and have group discussion. You are free to ask questions, participate, or just listen. Whether you’re exploring faith or have a long-term relationship with the Lord, this is a great way to get connected and dig deeper. What is Alpha?
Alpha Online is a series of group conversations that explore life, spirituality, and faith through a Christian lens. We create a non- judgemental and open environment where it’s easy for anyone who is atheist, skeptic, or just curious about faith to explore questions of life with new friends.
How does it work?
For Alpha Online, we meet via Zoom beginning at 7pm once a week (typically Wednesdays). We get together and watch a talk from someone in the Connection Community Church family. These typically last about 20 minutes and are very informal and then we have a discussion time about the subject of the talk. We don’t require everyone to talk— you can participate in the discussions as much or little as you are comfortable.
