Our Core Values

The core values of Connection Community Church are not just ideals or goals toward which we all strive, but the real preferences and choices that we actually make in daily life. These choices are both deliberate and carefully considered,  as well as spontaneous.

  • PEOPLE Everyone matters to God; no one is disposable. John 3:16-17
  • POSSIBILITY THINKING With God, all things are possible. Genesis 18:14
  • TEAMWORK Working together beats working alone. I Corinthians 12:12
  • RADICAL HOSPITALITY Putting extraordinary effort and emphasis on welcoming all people. Hebrews 13:2
  • EXCELLENCE Giving our best to God and others. Colossians 3:17
  • WORSHIP Praising God for everything God has done, is doing, and will do. Psalm 150:6
  • TRANSFORMATION Intentional Christ-centered living that makes a difference in our families, neighborhoods, communities, and world. Romans 12:2
  • GENEROSITY We can’t out-give God. Luke 8:38

Bedrock Beliefs

Connection Community Church’s Bedrock Beliefs are the principles and symbols of faith which matter most in our daily lives.It is to these beliefs that we turn in times of crisis and to decide how to use our time and energy.

To-Do List

The To-Do List is a concise action plan of what Jesus has called us to do. Through the To-Do List, Connection Community Church becomes the hands and feet and the voice and ears of Jesus, both in the church and in the world.
  • Go everywhere and share the Good News to all creation. Mark 16:15
  • Make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
  • Feed my sheep. John 21:17
  • Love the Lord with all you’ve got, and love your neighbor as yourself. Mark 12:30-31
  • Eat this bread and drink this cup in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11:24-25
