MOTO Outreach Initiative

Middletown Outreach Initiative
We are actively working to stand in the gap for neighbors in need!

Neighborhood House closed its doors in Middletown after 30 years of serving the community with social service programs like a food pantry, housing counseling, eviction prevention, utility disconnect prevention, Thanksgiving Dinners and Adopt-A-Family at Christmas. Other impactful discontinued programs will include free backpacks, school supplies, food and clothing for hundreds of Appo kids in need, diapers and formula for mamas and babies and household items for folks that were unhoused entering into secured housing. Additionally, folks would come to our offices to receive prayer, advice, resources and a shoulder to cry on or just talk with someone who cares. The MOT office served approximately 1700 neighbors each year.

The MOT Outreach Initiative is being led by Alison Windle, who was Executive Director of Neighborhood House for over 11years. She is working closely with Pastors David and Emily and the lead team as we follow God down a new path to stand in the gap for our neighbors. With the launching of MOT Outreach Initiative, we are inviting you to Just Show Up out in the community with us and watch God work!

Here’s how you can help:

  • Prayers for discernment: We want to honor God in all we do, how we plan and who we serve. Pray for our success and future program partners and advocates.
  • Donate: Seed funding is needed immediately to launch this new program model and ensure no client is left behind. All checks should be made to CCC with MOT Outreach in the memo line.
  • Advocate: Spread the word to ensure local leaders and donors understand that the need in our community remains critical.
